Carp Fishing Holidays in Canada
Canada We sell big carp, wild carp, hard fighting carp that will test you and your tackle to the
limits. Our carp have no names, you will be able to fish relatively virgin waters, scenic
waters that are mainly un-crowded and vast waters full of huge shoals of big fit wild
carp. There’s nothing quite like it anywhere else.
Canada is our main wild carp destination, with huge water systems teeming with carp
(and other species), mainly big commons and a few mirror carp. The average weight is
around 15 to 25 pounds but 30s are relatively common and 40 to 60 pounders are there
to be caught.
Carp fishing in Canada is unlike at home. You are not fishing pressured waters for pressured
fish. Here boilies do work but natural baits are just as good if not better.
Boiled maize or sweetcorn as hook baits and boiled maize and wheat as particle feeds
are what works most effectively.

Expect to catch 20 to 30 carp on a good day, mostly twenties. It’s as good as that!!
The season gets under way in May and ends in early to mid October as temperatures
drop. Summers are surprisingly hot, similar to a Mediterranean climate and winters are
cold. This climate creates a food rich, healthy water system that holds massive shoals of
big carp. A fishing licence is required for each province but they offer great value.
Low cost charter flights or excellent value scheduled flights, the choice is yours.
Baggage allowance is sufficient for clothes and tackle (you can hire tackle in
some resorts).
