Anglers World clients have been fishing the St Lawrence and Severn Trent Systems for twelve years, catching carp to around the 50lb mark. Depending on the conditions, you would expect to catch 12-15 fish in the day, although a client on one of Mick Gee’s guided trips did land 48 fish in just one day! These hard fighting wild carp average 15 to 25 pounds with a good number of 30 pound plus fish being caught. Cottages right on the lake with great fishing on your doorstep.

The Ebro in Spain has long been a popular destination, especially for families. Whilst there are huge carp here, there are monster catfish to over 200lb. English guides with accommodation on the river.

If you want the biggest catfish in the world, then you must travel further – to Kazakhstan. Only available for groups of 8 to 10 anglers.
