You are fishing for wild, big, hard fighting carp that will often strip 80 yards of line on their first run.

Carp on this system average 15-25 pounds and are principally commons with some mirrors.

Thirties and forties are landed most weeks and the record exceeds sixty pounds! We doubt there is a water in the world with a higher average weight and number of carp.

Most of the accommodation we offer is self-catering, Lakeside Cottages on the shores of Katchewanooka Lake at Lakefield being a strongly recommended example.
