Carp fishing holidays in Canada
Quebec - our latest discovery
Iles de Sorel, on the St Lawrence, is just an hours drive from Montreal
airport. Here the river branches into many channels, creating islands,
bays, backwaters and reed fringed margins. Best of all, these waters
have never been fished for carp before, and they are exclusive to
Anglers World clients.
There are huge shoals of quality carp, with fish to well over forty
pounds.
Tactics are simple; pre-bait, fish with four or five grains of boiled
maize on the hook, and feed frequently.
The centre is run by Safari Nordik. There is a restaurant at the
marina, and a selection of rustic
waterside cottages some near the marina, others on private
islands.
