Carp fishing holidays in Canada
Saskatchewan -a fabulous carp venue with top guiding
On the edge of the prairie, but only an hour and a half from Regina,
this big (65 by 3 mile) food-rich lake supports a huge head of fish.
There are enormous shoals of big, fat, muscular carp, typically
twenties and thirties, but also fish well over 50 pounds. Local
interest is for the predator fish and no wonder when there
are walleye to 18 pounds and pike to over 30 pounds so there
is virtually no angling pressure on the carp.
Our base is Rowans Ravine where owner/guide Robert Shultz has taken
a special interest in the carp on behalf of our clients. Book Roberts
guided package and you will be put onto pre-baited swims every day.
This guided package is excellent value for groups of four to six
anglers. What could be better than sharing 130 miles of prime carp
fishing?
Accommodation is in comfortable but basic cabins, and there is good
value food at the marina restaurant.
