This fabulous stretch of water, deep and wide, meanders slowly from Athlone to Portumna, both very popular centres for our clients.

The Portuma area is the place for big weights of quality bream, usually fishing well from March to October. And if the weather gets too warm in Summer, Lough Derg is just below the town.

Demand for accommodation here is always high, but we can still offer some excellent deals.
