Quick and easy access to year-round action.

A big advantage of the lower Ebro is that it is so close to the popular Mediterranean coast, an ideal destination for a combined family and fishing holiday. Salou is a lively beach resort, and along the coast is the seaside fishing town of San Carlos de la Rapita.

More serious anglers would prefer to stay further upriver, at Mequinenza, although there are good family facilities here too.

On the lower Ebro we offer small family hotels and apartments in friendly resorts along the coast, and upriver in Tortosa and Flix.

Further up river still, the Ebro has been dammed, creating a vast man-made lake, the Embalse de Riba-Roja, stuffed with big carp and monster catfish. Our partners Bavarian Guiding Services are based in the pleasant town of Mequinenza, on the edge of the lake.
